2012 has been an exciting year for me (so far!), having accomplished so much toward building my site, my Youtube channel, and my corset collection.

As most of you know, I tend to shy away from interviews (especially on national television) as it’s difficult to know if my words might be twisted around or if my passion may be made to look like something from a side show.

But the moment I spoke with Celina Wilde (owner of Radical Redefinition of Having It All), I knew that she would do neither. Her own site revolves around what success and contentment really means to each individual working woman, as opposed to what definition of success has been fed to us.

It was such a pleasure and an honour to speak with Celina, and I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did. For anyone curious about following your own passions and dreams, do check out Celina’s site here.

Hi Shannon, have you looked through my research section? You can shop corset brands by budget, by location (if you want to buy a corset from someone who lives more closeby), by silhouette, etc. You can also take a look at my measurements page, and send me an email with your natural measurements I will be able to suggest a couple of corsets that will be compatible for your body. If you have a specific budget too, that would be useful. :)

Wonderful interview Lucy! You have been for me what Phoenix was for you. The journey is hard but you help keep me inspired to continue to try. I will send you a pic when I make my first corset! Thank you so much for sharing your passion!

You can call me Coffey. Check out my website when you can. I’m building it myself in my increasingly rare spare time. It’s only one page but its a start! For my corset I plan to use the directions from Foundations Revealed for making your own pattern. I bought a laughing moon pattern but I don’t know how to transfer it so I can avoid cutting the original. Messing up my own pattern I can handle, but not one I paid for! Thanks for all the videos. I will be watching those for help. I live near the same store Puimond purchases his corset supplies and they are very helpful. I purchased Julia Bramble’s e-book so with all of these resources I’m sure it will come out okay. I would have never known where to begin if you hadn’t shared the information. I am in a financial crisis right now bit as soon as things turn around I plan to donate. Getting this skill down may save me and my son from further hardship. I look forward to this journey. Thanks for your help and encouragement!

What a fabulous interview, Lucy! It was a pleasure to listen to it. Thanks for sharing it. I have no doubt that you will get to where you wanna go. Pedal to the metal, girl, but don’t forget to stop and smell the roses. If it ain’t fun no more, it’s a job. And if you ain’t gettin’ paid for it, why ya doin’ it. :) All the best

Thank you so much Jack! I’m glad you had the patience to watch the interview, as I have a tendency to ramble. :) But I’m very grateful for your support and encouragement!
