Black Floral Brocade underbust corset (standard length). Understated and elegant, this fabric creates less friction so won’t cause your shirt to ride up if you wear it under your clothes.

The standard length corset is suitable for someone with an average torso length, and a relatively balanced figure who carries their weight equally on top and bottom. These corsets have a modern slim silhouette, so it may nip in the waist just a little bit, smooth over love handles and provide excellent posture support, but will not create too much of a conspicuous silhouette under your clothing. For those who are “apple shaped” and you carry your weight high in your tummy this cut may be a more suitable entry-level corset which will help to flatten the profile and ease you into training if most other corsets are too curvy for you.

Measurements:

The SLIM SILHOUETTE standard length underbust corsets generally accommodate ribcage ~4 inches larger than the waist, and hips ~7 inches larger than the waist. For instance, a size 24″ corset would fit someone with a ribcage circumference of 28″ and high hip of 31″. However, as a mass-produced garment there is a natural variation in these corsets so the proportions may not be exact in every corset.

Lengthwise, the standard length underbust corsets are approximately:

12 inches long in the center front.

10 inches long at the princess seam.

9.5 inches long at the side seam.

12.5 inches long at the center back.

Sizing:

It is generally advised that corsets are ordered approximately 4 inches (10cm) smaller than your natural waist – however if you would like to have your size verified before purchase, you may fill out the measurement form on this page. This corset contains two core layers of cotton twill, and a fashion fabric of a black-on-black large floral brocade which is smooth yet sophisticated. For those who don’t like the cashmere or cannot wear it for allergy reasons, this black floral underbust is favorite for those who wish to waist train (as long as measurements are compatible).

All standard underbust corsets contain 20 spiral steel bones and 6 flat steel bones, plus a front fastening busk and back grommets/ laces.

This corset does not include a modesty panel, but stiffened, floating modesty panels are available for separate purchase.
